Teacher Terrorists Dress For Success

The advantage here is that EVERYTHING sets off the metal detector, and none of it is really a weapon--unless you take off one of the gloves and throw it.  There's also the added advantage that if someone else in the building goes postal, you have some added protection.

Could that be what all this metal detecting is all about?  Does Bloomy have something planned for us that gives him reason to expect one or more of us to go postal???    Hmmmm.

Since you are a DOE employee, shouldn't you be treated equally to other DOE employees?
Without taking this to an absurd level, wouldn't someone going postal just grab the nearest chair and toss it? How does a scanner help that? Does it stop a would-be chair-tosser from smuggling in their own chair?

Hmmm...maybe you are on to something...if Klein is expecting an ATR meltdown he can trumpet to the newspapers that this person 'is too dangerous ' to be around children! Of course we all know that he is the danger to kids. Love the outfits though, I'd go with the metal one as it might block the evil scan rays of Klein.

Thank you for your interest. Despite what many teachers believe, the fate of reassigned teachers affects everyone.

As you will see in my next post, they resolved the issue. We can now walk around the scanner after showing our ID's to a security guard. We don't sign in or receive visitors passes. In other words we are treated like the rest of the staff. That makes me very happy.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to continue my Teacher Terrorist Fashion Show, but it was fun while it lasted.

Humor is not a cure, but it makes you feel better while you're trying to find one.
