As he promised, the UFT Advisor entered two objections.
1. He had not received the full packet of documents from Principal P. until just before the hearing. He and I did not have a copy of the documents until just before the hearing.
The objection was denied.
2. Principal P. should be at the meeting in person, not by speaker phone.

You should have expected that.
Read my earlier blog enteries for this academic year. We all know the verdict is fixed. Don't expect anything but a sham. You will feel better once you have the knowledge that this process is a sham!
I don't know of anyone who has "won" and I know a lot of teachers.
I knew this process was a sham, but I didn't KNOW it was a sham until I went through it. And I don't feel better. I am PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there any place on the internet that describes one of these proceedings step by step?
These people get away with what they are doing because they separate people out and then perpetrate their crap in private.
Words are more powerful weapons than Bombs.
By feeling better I mean that once you know the fix is in you are not so naive as to think you will get justice and therefor when the verdict is in you will not be crushed!
I am contmeplating building a website and looping the most outregous comments by my skunk of a principal such as that I am potentially violent and if I have been in the system for 20 years it is becuase I have not been properly supervised. I AM JUST AS PISSED AS YOU ARE AND I AM ACTING ON IT. TELL THE MEDIA IF THEY LISTEN TO YOU, WRITE YOUR POLITICIANS, TELL THE PARENTS AND FINALLY PUT IT ON THE INTERNET.
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
LET'S GET THIS UNION BACK AND FIGHT. OUR LIVES AND FUTURE ARE AT STAKE AND THE LIVES AND FUTURE OF THE CHILDREN OF THIS CITY!
They took over because most of us were focused on teaching our students. We left the politics to the Union and to the politicians.
I will have a lot more time and energy when I am not in the classroom anymore.
